Programme Background

The programme aims to provide students with focused and in-depth research knowledge within their specific areas of Business Studies. It also aims to inculcate in them a systematic and ethical approach in conducting research in specialised areas, thereby contributing to knowledge and practice.

This programme offers coursework mode. Full-time programme is within 1 year 6 months while part-time is within 2 years 6 months. Classes are held once a month on weekends.

Entry Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree with at least CGPA 2.50 out of 4.00 or equivalent qualification, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
• A bachelor’s degree but did not achieve CGPA 2.50 out of 4.00, or equivalent qualifications can be considered for admission subject to having at least five (5) years of working experience in relevant field.

Career Prospects

Graduates from this programme can look forwards to successful careers in middle and senior management across a range of organisations. Students may also wish to pursue PhD research following graduation.

Careers in management can be found across the private, public and voluntary sectors, with opportunities to branch out into areas of management, marketing and sales as well as technology. Graduates also can be as Academician such as teachers and lecturers in the field of management and business administration.
